Shop-top apartment living for Footscray

This project, for a private client, was to design a four level shop-top housing development for Footscray’s Central Business District. The affordable housing fronted Leeds Street which contains retail premises, and it also wrapped around the rear of the site to address Maddern Square, a previously neglected public space with retail premises backing onto it.

The project achieved planning approval, and was then put on hold due to change in client circumstances.
